KUSH invites you to a scheduled screening of a short film telling the story of the KUSH Art As Advocacy Initiative. The events also feature an exhibition of KUSH Shona sculptures.
The first screening will be held on Friday night May 19th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at 7348 Georgia Avenue NW. The second screening will be held on Saturday afternoon May 20th from 2pm to 4pm at the Culture Shop next door to Takoma Metro station.
Please join us as we celebrate the birth of this vision for using an indigenous African art form as a tool for advocacy. Please RSVP your attendance for either of the two screenings by leaving an RSVP message in the comments section of this post or by sending an email to kushworld@kushworld.org.
